Jake is a dedicated Yoga instructor and an eternal seeker of knowledge. He has been studying Yoga and meditation for more than 30 years and has been teaching for more than a decade.

A Vedic Educator

As a Chopra Certified Vedic Educator, Jake holds certifications in Primordial Sound Meditation, the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, and Perfect Health: Āyurvedic Lifestyle and enjoys sharing this wisdom with his students.

Travels through India

In 2019, Jake traveled to southern India to study Yoga Therapy with Yogacharya Dr. Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani at the International Centre for Yoga Education and Research at Ananda Ashram and the Centre for Yoga Therapy, Education and Research, A Center of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth. He also studied with distinguished prāṇāyāma master Sri O.P. Tiwari and Dr. N. Ganesh Rao, a master Yoga instructor and expert on The Yoga Sūtra of Patañjali and Sāṃkhya philosophy at Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute & Research Center (KDHAM).

Expanding through Education

Committed to expanding his knowledge in all his areas of interest, Jake studies music and sound at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California. He is also completing an additional certification in Yoga and Āyurveda through KDHAM.

Jake can often be found on his mat or meditation cushion or in the recording studio, composing and producing music and producing podcasts, courses, and audio books for the Yoga and wellness fields.

A Passion to Share and Teach

Jake has an extensive background in advanced technology. For more than 20 years, while working as a musician and pursuing his spiritual aspirations, Jake used his talents as a Mac expert in a variety of fields, particularly in the Yoga and wellness fields. He also travels internationally to large live events to lead audio/visual teams.

As a principal instructor with Ananta Yoga Education, Jake often marries his passions—Yoga, sound, and technology—by educating Yogāsana, meditation, and wellness instructors on best practices for using technology both online and with live audiences. Among his most popular topics are proper sound techniques for large, outdoor Yogāsana and meditation classes and how to teach Yoga using online technology.
